The Amazon rainforest is on fire. Here's what that means for the environment

The Amazon is the largest remaining tropical rainforest in the world and produces 20% of the world's oxygen. As the fires in the rain forest continue to burn, our environment is harmed. The Amazon forest is a giant carbon sink. If it burns, that carbon will all go into the atmosphere as it helps regulate the worlds climate.
